Consequence inspection

When damage, custody, recall, and approval records disagree about sequence, Vesper inventories each record before selecting an account. We preserve the disagreement long enough for it to be inspected rather than making an early event convenient.

Typical findings include “effect confirmed,” “cause pending,” and “sequence unsuitable for ordinary handling.”

Conditional objecthood

Some standards require a stable subject description before conflicting records can be processed. Vesper issues conditional certificates when a file does not yet agree on whether its ordinary criteria have been met.

Certification does not settle the disputed event. It keeps treatment of the dispute consistent enough to audit.

Conditional custody

When records assign handling responsibilities before intake status is settled, Vesper preserves the chain of custody without deciding which event occurred first. Later paperwork may not quietly rewrite earlier uncertainty.

Return prevention

A return record can disagree with the intake record that supposedly precedes it. Vesper keeps that disagreement visible instead of converting it into a convenient sequence.
